Zain Murdock is a queer Jamaican and African American poet, Pisces, and abolitionist journalist with poems in the Missouri Review, Poet Lore, The Adroit Journal, and elsewhere. Currently D(M)V based and co-president of Black media workers union, PushBlack Workers United (PBWU), Zain holds a bachelor’s in creative writing from Columbia University and is working on a poetry manuscript about spiders and a Black speculative fiction project exploring time travel as a remedy for traumatic events.
